Here's a fun

a classic book.

Directions:
1. Choose a favorite
chapter from a classic story book, preferably one WITHOUT illustrations.
2. Number from 1-6
on 2 pieces of lined paper, leaving 3-4 spaces between numbers.
3. On the first page,
write out what will happen in each of the six boxes of the
comic strip.
4. On the second page,
write what will be said in each box.
5. Now draw your comic
strip based on what you have written. Put dialogue in "bubbles" and
be sure to print.
6. Color in everything
(except the bubbles) with the colored pencils or markers.
7. Outline everything
with a black marker. Go over the print with the marker, too.
8. Creatively write
the title of the book and chapter number on the top of the
page and your name on the bottom.
