Print off the following sheets (one per student):

Fashion Model Template (print on white paper)
Fashion Styles Sheet
Checklist

Directions:

1. Tape a piece of tracing paper over the Fashion Model template.

2. Look over the checklist and decide which kind of outfit you will design. You will determine the season, formality, age group and price range of your outfit.

3. Using the Fashion Styles Sheet for inspiration, draw an outfit in pencil on the tracing paper. Don't forget accessories such as hats, shoes, belts, scarves and jewelry.

4. Now trace the parts of the model's body and face that are outside of the clothing.

5. Color everything in with colored pencils. Outline with a fine tipped black marker, if desired.

6. Remove the tracing paper and tape it onto tinted paper so that the white parts will appear.

7. Now create another one! Try a completely different type of outfit. Create a whole collection!
