Students will learn to draw and paint as Karine demonstrates
and draws along with her students while teaching fundamental
principles of design, color theory, perspective and style.
Classes include sketching practice, instruction on various
topics and completion of finished projects using a variety
of mediums including graphite, charcoal, colored pencils,
ink, pastels and watercolor paints. All supplies are included.
All that’s needed is a desire to learn!
Location: Tanner Trails Community Church,
2301 Tanner Road in North Aurora
Dates: Tuesdays, September 2 - November
18 (12 weeks)
Serious art students in grades 8-12 are invited to join
Karine once a month, from September 2008 through May 2009
for an intensive advanced art class in her home studio.
This class would include the more advanced mediums of sculpture,
printmaking and painting as well as drawing. Students
would be given more freedom to create and be conceptual
in their work than in my usual classes. Students
would receive 2-4 hours of homework per month.
Fee: $225/year (all supplies
are included)
Dates: First Wednesday of the month,
Sept 2008—May 2009
