Karine Bauch is available to teach art workshops at libraries, group meetings and schools in the Kane or DuPage county area of Illinois.

The following list is just a sample of the many projects that she can teach to your students:

Four Session Art Series
Length of class: 1 hour
Age Groups: Grades 2-5, Grades 6-12
Fee for series: $300 (all supplies are included)
Class size limit: 12

1. Folk Art from around the world: Create unique versions of four different folk art styles from various countries, such as Rosemaling and Batik.

2. Impressionism: Learn about the Impressionist movement and create two reproductions:

a. a Monet painting using soft pastels.
b. a van Gogh painting using oil pastels.

3. Color Theory Class: Four lessons covering the color wheel, complementary colors, analogous colors and shading with color.

4. Skylines from around the world: Draw and paint four famous city skylines in four different mediums: oil pastel, tempera paint, scratchboard and colored pencils.

Length of Class: 1-1/2 hours
Age groups: Grades 2-5 or 6-12
Fee: $125 (all supplies are included)
Class size limit: 20
